Daddy Isn't Who You Think He Is...

In the land of all things romance, spicy deliciousness, and book boyfriends, there are two really hot trends happening. Daddy and Hockey.

And I also happen to be in my #daddyera as well as getting into writing my #hockeyera but let's get a few things straight before we go any further.

I've always been in my #hockeyera and happily so. Whether it watching my two teams of suited up hotness (Cle Monsters and my Pens) or reading Helena Hunting or Emily Rath, hockey is in my heart. And I can't wait to get to Kaspiri and all the boys in the finelytailored suits. Just thinking about it gives me the shivers...

But, that other word? Yep. Daddy.

I thought I'd let you behind the curtain, and give my take on my #daddyera. It's not just a buzz word, though yep, it also gives me the shivers. (If you have Ed Sheeran playing in your head, we can be friends!)

The idea of a "Daddy" kinda made me cringe at first. And in Trust Fall and Free Fall, Reid and I share our thoughts on the subject. Lena and Anthony jump in head first in Steal My Kiss, and I have no shame.

Is it sexy? Yes. Is it what you think entirely? Maybe???

For me, it was important to get the context right for people who live the lifestyle, and not use it in a way that gives people the wrong impression. Am I saying this is the only way to look at a Daddy? Nope. But, I hope it will show you how sexy, hot, and droolworthy Anthony and Owen are.

The need to take care of their woman, maybe guide her, give her advice, and make sure her needs are met are at the center of who they are. There are so many other nuances, including that yummy age gap, but, make no mistake. It's not about control. It's about trust, and a level in a relationship ship that only gets hotter on the page with these two...
